Sasha’s roots and upbringing on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands instilled in her a deep sense of responsibility towards addressing environmental challenges. Witnessing firsthand the many impacts of extreme climate events and embracing a sustainable lifestyle in her community, she was driven to pursue a career in environmental management and climate adaptation. Sasha graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Philosophy. Since then, she has thrived as a sustainability analyst in Washington, DC, actively contributing to improving practices in the field. Sasha is thrilled to take part in the MS-ESM program at Georgetown and aims to equip herself with more essential tools in environmental management, further empowering her to lead impactful initiatives and create a positive change in the realm of sustainability and adaptation in the Caribbean.
