Sasha’s roots and upbringing on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands instilled in her a deep sense of responsibility towards addressing environmental challenges. Witnessing firsthand the many impacts of extreme climate events and embracing a sustainable lifestyle in her community, she was driven to pursue a career in environmental management and climate adaptation. Sasha graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Philosophy.
