Meet the 2027 class of the Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability Management – a cohort of dedicated students who are committed to building their environmental science and business skills through leadership and collaboration among a diverse group of peers.

The ESM Class of 2027 have an average of 2.4 years of experience and an average age of 26. 62% are women, 3.6 average GPA, and we have representation of 35% U.S. diversity*.
Industries represented include consulting, education, energy and clean tech, government, international development, and not-for-profit/social impact. Professional backgrounds include 61% for profit, 17% public/government, and 22% not-for-profit. Undergraduate degrees represented are 59% environmental, sustainability, and life sciences, 15% economics, 10% social and behavior sciences, 5% engineering, 5% communications and journalism, 3% business, and 3% other.
The Class of 2027’s years of work experience include 54% with less than 1 year, 15% with 1-2 years, 18% with 3-6 years, and 13% with 7+ years of experience.
There are 12 countries represented in our current cohort: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Greece, India, Pakistan, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, and United States.
Across the cohort, 22 languages are spoken.
