Saeyeon earned her B.A. in Global Affairs, with a minor in Conflict Analysis & Resolution, from George Mason University in 2022. Originally from South Korea, she has lived in South Korea, New Zealand, and the United States. Before joining the MS-ESM Program at Georgetown University, Saeyeon gained valuable experience in both the public and private sectors. In her home country, she dedicated her efforts to a United Nations project office, which had the noble mission of enhancing public governance in the least developed countries. Later, following her graduation, she ventured into the realm of impact investing, working with multiple start-ups in the United States. Saeyeon aspires to make a positive impact in the fields of sustainable investing and ESG consulting. Beyond this, she holds a grander goal of supporting climate initiatives in developing countries and advocating for environmental justice.
