Risa Fish

Risa is from Gilbert, Arizona, and she is a recent graduate of Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. Being born and raised in Arizona, she has firsthand experience of how a lack of sustainable infrastructure and planning can jeopardize the livelihoods of people residing in areas where the effects of climate change are increasingly noticeable. Additionally, Risa dedicated two years to working with 33 Buckets, an Arizona-based nonprofit organization that operates in rural Peruvian communities, implementing projects to empower these communities with clean water access and sanitation practices. During her trip to Peru in 2022, Risa witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of clean water resources on a community, which ignited her interest in sustainable development and ensuring affordable resource accessibility. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Service and Public Policy (Sustainability) and a Certificate in Cross-Sector Leadership, Risa possesses a robust enthusiasm for sustainable policy and infrastructure development. By applying business principles within the realm of environment and sustainability, she aspires to assist businesses and organizations in crafting sustainable practices. Her goal is to ensure that the commitment to a sustainable future becomes a universal endeavor.
