Katelyn Namanny

Katey’s love for the environment starts with attending a Mock UN Trial with 100+ countries represented. Despite the differences all of the attendees had, she observed they shared one thing in common: the desire to protect Earth and its resources because it is their only home. This inspired her to obtain my environmental engineering and policy degree from the University of Iowa. She learned about the work of sustainable business during an internship with General Electric in Schenectady, NY. This experience and her research on water quality data led to her desire to be a part of the Georgetown ESM-MS program. She is currently working part-time with the Environmental Protection Agency in the Superfund Division and aspires to work in ESG.
