Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Bucknell University. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she double-majored in Environmental Studies and Economics, a combination that has allowed her to explore the intricate balance between environmental well-being and economic vitality. During her time at Bucknell, she was not only committed to academics but also actively engaged in campus life. She had the privilege of being a member of Epsilon Eta, an esteemed environmental honors society, which allowed me to collaborate with like-minded peers and deepen my understanding of environmental challenges and solutions on campus and globally. During the summer of her junior year, she was an intern at a sustainable clothing company, she gained invaluable insights into the practical application of eco-friendly principles in the business world. Additionally, she had the privilege of collaborating with a local conservancy on a semester-long project focused on developing effective management plans and increasing conservation membership. This hands-on engagement exposed me to the intricacies of conservation efforts, highlighting the importance of community involvement and strategic planning in safeguarding our natural resources. Her academic journey and experiences have ignited a profound curiosity to further explore and contribute to the fields of environmental studies and economics. She is excited to embark on the next phase of her educational journey in graduate school, where she hopes to learn about policy development that addresses the pressing environmental and economic challenges of our time.
