Brittany was born and raised in Rustburg, Virginia and completed her undergraduate studies in environmental science at the University of Virginia. After graduation, she pursued a career in indoor agriculture and has worked in both research and production for companies in New York, Washington D.C., and Virginia. Her work experience thus far has given her a clear understanding of the difficulties of sustainable business and the challenges of creating impactful food security in urban spaces. She has joined the MS-ESM cohort to better understand sustainable business principles all companies will need to implore and to round out her undergraduate education.
