Anh-Vy has been interested in corporate social sustainability since the early stages of her career and education. She pursued a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at the University of California, Los Angeles where she was actively involved in a number of environmentally-based projects/jobs. From working in the Sustainability Department at UCLA to teaching research methods for Sustainability Action, Anh-Vy has always rooted her work in ESG. After graduating, she worked in marketing for the Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge powered by Sustento Group and the Department of Energy where she created various campaigns educating commercial real estate builders and owners in decarbonization. Shortly thereafter, Anh-Vy worked for Larta Institute as a Program Operations Associate where she helped start-ups funded by the DOE find their footing in advancing their new technology. Now looking to advance her education, she is excited to be joining the MS-ESM 2023-2024 class to learn more about the intersection of sustainability and business while also balancing a policy internship at the renowned law and lobbying firm, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
