Danielle is a first-generation Trinidadian-American from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but has been living in Boston, Massachusetts for the past six years. She graduated from Boston College in 2021 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Finance. After graduation, she worked as an Associate Financial Analyst at an insurance company, but desired a career change to leverage her business skills to facilitate sustainable operation and policy changes within companies. In recent years, she has become increasingly concerned with the effects of climate change, as weather events have grown in frequency and intensity. She’s particularly passionate about the climate injustices faced by various vulnerable communities around the world. She chose Georgetown’s MS-ESM program due to its unique interdisciplinary structure of business, sustainability, and environmental science courses.
