Carina is a design practitioner and facilitator with 5+ years experience in city government innovation. She currently serves as Senior Associate at the Centre for Public Impact’s Climate Change Initiative, which partners with municipalities worldwide to implement climate action through systems change and continuous learning frameworks. Carina has worked with over 25 city government teams to build out their innovation capabilities, ranging from issues like reducing car dependency through placemaking and flooding resilience. Carina is experienced in the fields of UI/UX design, human-centered design, tactical urbanism, racial equity advancement, and public health research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Urbanism from Yale University.
